As I am wrapping up the end of the 2014 Engagement and Wedding Season, This is the last post for 2014. Engagement Session with Kia and Ken in Central Park! This amazing couple grew up in New York City, so when scheduling Kia + Ken’s engagement session in middle of October, they decided no other than Central Park, Bethesda Fountain, Central Park Mall to capture their photos. We had to reschedule few times because weather was showing to be a bit stubborn, but we finally got a great day to be able to document this fabulous couple! I had a blast spending the (chilly) afternoon with Kia + Ken, and cannot wait for their big day in 2015! So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from their Engagement Session!
Diana and Ralph got married on a gorgeous summer day at the Greenpoint Loft. They know each other for a decade now. Amazing chemistry between two of them, perfect example of “made for each other”. They have a beautiful princess and a very loving friends and family. So many of the awesome touches from their wedding were provided by family and friends. Diana created almost all wedding favors by hand. (It was AWESOME!), The sunflower theme was very unique as well. I loved the cake. It was amazing to be part of such a homegrown wedding celebration.
Ting and Sohrab were married few times to each other past five years, First in China, Boston and New York maybe in England Next year. The opportunity to photograph Ting and Sohrab was an absolute pleasure. They were just amazing fun loving couple with awesome chemistry. My day started with Sohrab at Waldorf Astoria, where he was getting ready with his buddy then I came to their apartment in East side where Ting was getting ready with her girls. I must say beautiful apartment and interior. Since they were married few times already there wasn’t any formal ceremony. It was more like just have fun with all their friends and family. We went to Central Park for some formals, then walked around the city took some candid, later we came together at the Whitehall Bar + Kitchen in West Village for lots of fun, drinks, food and laughter.
I had absolute pleasure working with this dynamic couple, Cristina and Joshua. She is from New York, and he is from Washington D.C. – she wanted a New York style e-session. We traveled all around the city to capture vibrant images during their engagement session. We started in Dumbo, Brooklyn and then in Grand Central Terminal. Their style was photojournalism. I didn’t even have to pose them – they knew exactly what to do – I captured mostly candid shots and few posed shots. They were amazing couple to work with – they just made for each other, both were fun and energetic.
