Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Dhoom Studio Photo & Video for your wedding photography and videography services. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking with Dhoom Studio Photo & Video, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Payment

To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer of 25% is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance may be paid in monthly payments or up to three installments within 12 months, with the final payment due one month prior to the wedding date.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Cash
  
• Zelle
  

Failure to make payments according to the agreed schedule may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of payments made.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

The initial retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your wedding date.

• Cancellations made 10 months or more before the wedding date may be eligible for a partial refund of payments made beyond the retainer, at the discretion of Dhoom Studio Photo & Video.
• Cancellations made less than 6 months prior to the wedding date will result in the forfeiture of all payments made.

3. Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your wedding date, Dhoom Studio Photo & Video will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

A rescheduling fee of $500 may apply.

If the new date is unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

4. Services Provided

Dhoom Studio Photo & Video will provide photography and/or videography services as outlined in the agreed package or signed contract.

Any additional services requested on the wedding day, including extended coverage or additional deliverables, may incur additional fees.

5. Image & Video Delivery

Edited high-resolution images and/or videos will be delivered within approximately 6–8 weeks after the wedding date.

The number of images delivered may vary depending on:

• Event duration
  
• Timeline
  
• Coverage conditions
  
• Package selected
  

Final files will be delivered via a private online digital gallery for viewing and download.

6. Copyright & Image Usage

Dhoom Studio Photo & Video retains full copyright ownership of all images and videos created during the event.

Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to:

• Download
  
• Print
  
• Share images for personal use
  

Clients may not sell, alter, or distribute images commercially without written permission from Dhoom Studio Photo & Video.

7. Model Release

By booking our services, you grant Dhoom Studio Photo & Video permission to use images or video footage from your event for:

• Website portfolio
  
• Social media
  
• Advertising
  
• Marketing materials
  

If you prefer that your images not be used for promotional purposes, you must notify us in writing prior to the wedding date.

8. Liability

Dhoom Studio Photo & Video will take all reasonable care to capture and preserve high-quality images and footage.

In the unlikely event of circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to:

• Equipment failure
  
• Illness or injury
  
• Accidents
  
• Acts of God
  

Dhoom Studio Photo & Video reserves the right to:

• Provide a qualified replacement photographer/videographer

• Reschedule the shoot when possible
  

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Obtaining any required permits or permissions for photography or videography at the venue.

• Ensuring cooperation of guests and family members during scheduled photo and video sessions.

• Providing an accurate timeline and notifying the studio of any schedule changes.
  

Dhoom Studio Photo & Video is not responsible for missed moments due to late schedules, guest interference, or venue restrictions.

Agreement

By booking with Dhoom Studio Photo & Video, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

1. Program Description:

This messaging program sends booking inquiries, confirmations, event-related notifications, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support (transactional messages) to customers who have booked services with Dhoom Studio Photo & Video through our website at www.dhoomstudio.com  or via our scheduling forms, and have explicitly opted in by checking the dedicated SMS notifications consent checkbox. Separately, this program also sends recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages including special offers, discounts, new product updates, and photography/videography-related promotions to customers who have explicitly opted in by checking the dedicated marketing consent checkbox at the phone number provided. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or booking. Opt-in for both message types is collected via web forms containing dedicated checkboxes with clear consent language. Message frequency varies for all messages. Message and data rates may apply. Customers can reply HELP for assistance or STOP to opt out.

2. Cancellation Instructions:

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

3. Support Information:

If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or reach out directly to info@dhoomstudio.com or call 646-475-2828 during business hours.

4. Carrier Liability:

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Message & Data Rates:

Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

6. Supported Carriers:

Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

7. Age Restriction:

You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

8. Privacy Policy:

For privacy-related inquiries, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.dhoomstudio.com/privacy-policy/ We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.

General Terms

This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Dhoom Studio Photo & Video LLC ("COMPANY," "we" or "us"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the Site or to products and services available through the Site or from Dhoom Studio Photo & Video.
